Friends of DUY – Special Performance & Volunteering Launch

Date: Thursday 1st May

Venue: Alhambra Studio, Morley Street, Bradford

Time: 7pm

Join Us for an Evening of Dance, Community & Impact

We are excited to invite you to Friends of DUY—a special performance that is more than just a show. This event marks the launch of a new initiative designed to bring together those who share our passion for using dance to transform lives.

DUY has always been about more than movement—it’s about creating opportunities, building confidence, and making a lasting impact on young people and communities. Friends of DUY is an opportunity to connect with us, whether on stage, behind the scenes, or as part of our growing support network.

Why Attend?

  • Experience a powerful performance that showcases DUY’s impact.

  • Meet like-minded individuals who are passionate about supporting young people through dance.

  • Discover how you can get involved—whether through volunteering, offering skills, or simply being part of the DUY family.

Meet Our Volunteer Coordinator – Paul O’Hara

We are thrilled to introduce Paul O’Hara, our new Volunteer Coordinator, to help shape and grow Friends of DUY. Paul will work closely with us to develop meaningful ways for people to support DUY, such as assisting at events, mentoring young dancers, or providing valuable expertise.

Want to get involved? Paul will be available at the event to chat, or you can reach him directly at paul@duy.org.uk.
